The woman who wasn't afraid of anything. Schiaparelli was known for her wild, whimsical, and even ridiculous designs. Her design inspiration was heavily influenced by surrealists art work such as Salvador Dali and Alberto Giacometti. She was seen as a nonconformist using fashion as a medium to express her ideas. Although her styles were pretty wacky, women with a well-dressed style did dare to wear her designs. Below are some of her famous designs and ideas.
