BELLA+SOPHIA CLOTHING // STYLE FOR A BETTER YOUTH

Bella + Sophia Clothing

Good morning readers!
I am so excited to show you this beautiful and dreamy children's wear line: Bella + Sophia Clothing

About the designer:
Jennifer Veguilla, the founder of Bella + Sophia, knows how to juggle it all. This mother, entrepreneur, professional, and creative, is truly an inspiration to all women out there. Growing up in poor areas of Chicago, Jennifer witnessed violence and drug/gang activity within her own home. Most would say she was doomed for failure, however, Jennifer ran in the opposite direction to make something of herself and a better future for her children. With a background in corporate PR and marketing management, she left her corporate career to follow her true passion, designing.

Behind the brand:
Bella+Sophia Clothing is a brand about putting heart and soul into fashion, the one passion and dream Jennifer aimed for. And she did just that. This childrenswear line partners with organizations such as 360 Youth Services, where she gives a portion of all her sales back to the community. She is a true believer that we can change the world and it starts with children, to be the best mother and role model for them to grow into inspiring, healthy adults.

This is your chance to cloth & style your children in clothes that MEAN something. You can view all products for the A/W 2013 collection here. I am so happy & proud to personally know Jennifer, and look forward to seeing her succeed with your guys' support!

BLOGS FOR BUSINESS

Are you a small business owner? Entrepreneur? Mega corporation? Times of marketing are evolving as technology does. The blogosphere is getting so vast and large because it serves a fundamental purpose to gain more traffic in a creative way, which will then lead to your primary goal, driving sales.

The internet is an explosion of information. So much that it is sometimes overwhelming. The importance of having a blog is higher than ever. Utilize it as a marketing tool for your business. It's the same with social media. Facebook, which started as a social outlet for college students to reconnect, is now a leading tool in business. Your business needs to create interesting content to attract more clients.

Which brings me to my next point, visual communication and design. You are bombarded with advertisements all day long, even if you don't realize it. (If you don't realize it, whoever posted that advertisement is doing their job RIGHT!). If you want to run your own business, you have to understand the basics of graphic design and how to create a graphic that will draw peoples attention because most people want to look at the pictures rather than read a long, dragged out essay.

I found this really interesting infographic on the "Anatomy of Marketing". It really outlines the purpose of blogging and how it can truly benefit your business.

Knowledge is power. You need to constantly reinvent your marketing strategies, even if your company has used the same old traditional techniques for ages. How do you utilize the web to market yourself?
